Methodological caveats
The at-risk-of-poverty-or-social-exclusion (AROPE) rate combines three conditions into one headline share: at risk of poverty, severe material and social deprivation, or living in a household with very low work intensity. It cannot be broken down from this table and must not be treated as the sum of the at-risk-of-poverty rate and other indicators. Only a limited set of age groups is shown. Eurostat flags a break in this country's time series for this indicator in 2025: values on either side of a break were not measured the same way, so the change across it is not a like-for-like movement.
