Methodological caveats
The headline at-risk-of-poverty rate uses the standard EU definition: 60% of median equivalised income, as a percentage of the population. Eurostat publishes 31 other variants of this table; they are not comparable with the headline figure and are not presented as if they were. Age bands overlap in the source, so only a small non-overlapping set is shown. Eurostat flags a break in this country's time series for this indicator in 2003, 2019: values on either side of a break were not measured the same way, so the change across it is not a like-for-like movement.
